A Thanksgiving Day Recipe

It's Thanksgiving Day and I want to say Thanks to all of my readers that visit my blog.  I really appreciate all the wonderful comments and support I have received through my blog and have made many new friends that I cherish always.

To share in the Thanksgiving, my daughter wanted to share her delicious and fool proof recipes that she came up with at school.  ENJOY!

Translation... First get a turkey. Then I go to the farm. I make a turkey. I cook it with pumpkin, pepper, eggs, 2 cups of sugar. Put it in the pan. Put it in the oven. I eat it.
Translation... Paige's pumpkin pie

1 cup of frosting
1 cup of vanilla
1 cup of pumpkin
2 eggs
2 spoons of salt
2 spoons of sugar
3 cups of chocolate
4 teaspoons of flour

mix it together, put it in the oven, bake it at 2 degrees for 3 hours. Eat it.

{LOVE HER!}

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls

My mom came up with this idea and shared it with me.  It was such an ingenious idea, that I just had to share it with all of you!  I hope you like it!

Ingredients... one can of Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls

Instructions:

Step 1... Pop open the package and place the cinnamon rolls on a baking sheet.

Step 2... Using a sharp knife, cut each roll into fourths.

Step 3... Split the now cut rolls apart and space evenly on your cookie sheet.

Step 4... Using the specified baking time listed on the package, BAKE.  Because they are much smaller rolls now than originally packaged, the baking time is now cut in half.  For example, if the package says to Bake for 30 minutes, only bake for 15 minutes.  Each oven is going to cook differently so be sure to adjust as neccessary.

Step 5... Remove rolls from oven and apply frosting.  You may need to gently push the little tree rolls back together before frosting.

For a little more sparkle, sprinkle with little green crystal sprinkles to give your trees some color.

An Easy and Perfect treat for Christmas Breakfast... enjoy!

Happy Monday!

Happy CYBER DAY! Hope everyone had a wonderful and Thankful Thanksgiving! I know I had a great time seeing all of the Yosten's (Richie has a BIG family). The food was YUMMY and now I think I need to lose 10 pounds....hmmm. Anyway... we got a lot done over our holiday weekend and I am feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world... okay not really, but it sounded good, right?

The day after Thanksgiving, I moved my home office to another location in the house. Richie used to work from home a lot like I do and now he is actually going into the office now that he has a workspace there of his own. SOOO... we decided it was time the kids get a playroom and I move my office into the study where Richie's office used to be. I am really digging my new room. Lots more desk space and I can now have my sewing machine and my computer all on the desk.

Saturday, we put up our Christmas decorations and it looks like Christmas in our house now... I love Christmas time. All the joy and happiness that surrounds this time of year is just so refreshing!
I also got a blast from the past today. I finally received this toy sewing machine that I won on Ebay. My sister and I had a sewing machine just like this when we were little and really wanted Paige to be able to learn on one like this as well. I was so excited when I finally found it on Ebay and quickly put in my bid for it and WON! It uses yarn and punches through foam pads so there are no needles to worry about. I can't wait until Paige gets it on Christmas morning! I think I may be more excited about it than she will be.
