Quiet Books

I love coming up with new project ideas using Jenn Ski's line of fabrics. They are so much fun and when I see her designs come in to the marketing dept, I almost immediately get an idea for a project to make using her panels.

The first project I made from a Jenn Ski collection was from her Ten Little Things fabrics collection. I made this quiet book that featured Chalkboard  panels opposite of her number panels.

When Oink a Doodle Moo came in, I knew it had to be another book, but this time it used flannel fabric opposite of the cute little animal panels. Wool letters were added to the book so little ones could spell out words and stick to the flannel pages.

There is even a hidden zippered pocket in the back of the book to store all the little wool letters so they are nice and secure ready for playtime. {unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the inside right now as it is off traveling. I will try to take another picture}

Both of the books, Ten Little Things and Oink a Doodle Moo, are available as Free Patterns on the Moda website.

I love coming up with these soft book designs and now with my own collection, Flats, coming to stores... well...  I just might have an idea for another quiet book up my sleeves. Check back next week to see a sneak peek of my new Quiet Book Pattern featuring Flats.
