I love this tutorial. I bought chalkboard material probably about 10 years ago and still haven't used it. ReplyDeleteI love the ruffled knit shirt tut. I saw one once on the web somewhere with similiar idea but using a white button blouse. Have you ever seen it?? ReplyDeleteLove the tutorial on buisness accessories! I wanted to do Lanyards for my co-workers this year for Christmas and now I know where to start :) Also love the chalkboard placements. I have a 1 year old and I could see that being a fun take-along to restaurants etc.

ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to see text for what the tutorial is, either on the photo or when you hover over the picture. Right now it does have some text, but you have to hover and wait for awhile.

Great idea. I'm still into small patch work pieces and this is perfect. No grandchildren yet, but great nephews and nieces will and especially my siblings will appreciate this project.

I had no idea you had so many tutorials......I really like the knit baby blanket and mitts.....need to make those for my gifts for every new baby. The chalkboard mats are wonderful. All of your ideas seem to be perfect for my grandchildren. I sure hope I hands on your giveaway...so much fun to be had!! Kristy

I found it a bit tedious to have to click on each image to see what the title of the tutorial was. It would be much nicer for a text description to be included on that first page.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm, I have two favorites.... I've made the Burp Cloth and Bib set as a gift and loved how they turned out. I also love the little Fla temelie and Matt paperdolls! I'd love to make them for my granddaughter who is going to China very soon to live for FOUR years! She is enjoying coloring some paperdolls that I just got her!

ReplyDeleteThis will make a great gift for my granddaughter (5) and for my students to use in the classroom to practice spelling words or math facts. Anything different will make it fun and not a chore! I'm going to make the Island Cookie recipe this week. What about dried pineapple in place or the cranberry. ReplyDeleteLove the chalk cloth! My son has has a travel chalkboard for 3 years now and it is the best thing in restaurants. Your tutorial is much easier than the pattern I have used though. Thinking I will have to make a ruffled table runner for my daughters dresser. Too cute! I hope I get the card from your daughter! :)

This is such a great tutorial. I made a similar playmat when I first discovered chalk cloth. Back then, I only had charm squares, so it's tic tac toe style. I love the one large piece for all types of coloring and games. Fresh Fabric Treats is one of my go-to books for inspiration. Good stuff! Thanks!
