Have you ever been so excited to share something and you know you can't tell anyone. You know... that pee in your pants kind of excitement? I have been holding on to a little secret for over a year now and I am so excited that I can finally share with the world what I have been working on in the wee hours in the morning and on my free weekends.
Announcing... Stop. Go. Quilt. Sew!
Written by none other than little ole ME! {HAPPY DANCE}
and Published by Stash Books
IN STORES JULY 2012
12 Fun exciting projects for the BOYS to enjoy! Girls would love this book too, but how many books can you honestly say that BOYS and GUYS alike would enjoy making and/or receiving the projects from? All the projects in this book were made with the guys in mind.
Be sure to follow my blog and check regularly to find out more about upcoming blog tours, book signings and more! You will not want to miss getting this book... great for beginners and advanced sewers!
Now that you all know my secret, PLEASE help me celebrate by standing up and doing a happy dance!
In addition, I am going to randomly select one lucky reader to receive a signed copy of the other two books that I have contributed to, Fresh Fabric Treats and Modern Blocks Book, both published by Stash Books.
Be sure to leave me a comment for your chance to win these two autographed books.
P.S... I would love to know if you actually did a happy dance to celebrate the announcement of my new book!
Winner will be randomly selected and announced on Friday, March 2.

ReplyDeleteYour new book looks very cool. I'm living here in testosteroni land! Two little boys and a husband - it's really all about things with wheels around here!
Congratulations, that's so excited. Seeing as though I'm at work, no happy dances are happening here right now. They might look at me funny. (That's me pretending they don't already do that when I break out into quilt conversation with a bunch of non-quilters.)

As the mother of two boys, I know that there is a great imbalance out there in projects for girls vs. projects for boys. Thanks for closing the gap a bit!

Bless your heart for writing a book for boys...in my heart I did the most joy-filled happy dance for you.!(sorry..it's the best I can do at present and I really do love to dance) Fancy holding that secret for so long. Your illustrations look stunning, so appropriate for the lads. You are meeting a real need for me, so it really is wonderful news! I'm sure it cost you such a lot of hard work ...it looks very promising and I'm sure will do you proud!

WOW, WOW, oh WOW!! Finally something cute for the boys! Angela, I am so impressed, and have seen your talent for so long. I am so thankful to know such a gifted friend. You offer such a unique style to things, and I love it. Reminds me of stuff I would have seen in your parents maybe. What a wonderful and unique family you come from! So HAPPY for you!!
ReplyDeleteSarah
I did do happy dance!! Congratulations!! I have a 4 year old son who is obsessed with planes, trains, and automobiles (not the movie - lol). And, since we are moving in the next year, he's getting his own room finally (apart form his older sister, who seriously cramps his "all boy" style). Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is so exciting! You bet I'm joining you in the happy dance. Wait until you see the dance I'll be doing if I win those books. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for more designs by you, especially with boys in mind. I look forward to this after falling in love with your Modern Blocks during the quilt along!
