My Quilted Napsacks

From December 2008 to December 2009 I completed 14 Nap Sacks for family and friends.  That is a little over 1 napsack a month.  I love making these things... the end result is so satisfying!

I can generally get a nap sack done over a weekend in between tending to the needs of my two little ones.  If you don't have any distractions, you can easily get one done in one day.  Here are some pictures of my finished Nap Sacks.

You can get my free tutorial on how to make the version with Layer Cakes on the Moda Bake Shop for your friends and family.

PLEASE NOTE: The construction of these napsacks is my original design. Please do not copy my design without my explicit permission. Thank you!

  7. Wow, you have been busy. These are darling, what a great Christmas gift they would make for my nieces and nephews, especially if they help kids take naps!

  10. The nap sack is a great idea. I would love to do that so when we have our nieces over they would have something more cozy to sleep in (other than a blanket on the couch). How would you launder them? Delicate cycle?

  11. The One and Only: They actually wash up really nice... just like a quilt. I wash them in Cold Water and then dry them in the dryer on Medium heat.

  12. Man, you are a mad woman!!! :) Just kidding, but really, each one is so cute. I'm impressed that you did so much piecing and details on them - not just a two pieces of fabric slapped together. They're darling. Great job!
